Daniel Sandefur

Daniel is a A licensed master electrician, BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer, Co-Author of the Ugly’s Electrical References, and electrical contractor in 26 states, this themed entertainment and resort professional illuminates every project he works on – and he’s worked on a lot of projects.

With over 25 years of experience in all things electric, it’s no wonder that Daniel’s experience spans across a wide variety of installations: residential, commercial, industrial electrical systems, and medium voltage switchgear. His work has taken him all across the Walt Disney World Resort: Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Cirque Du Soleil, the Coca-Cola Store, and the Skyliner are just a few of his opulent Orlando opportunities.

And he’s no stranger to high-class hotels and off-beat projects: Meow Wolf and their interactive art installations have benefitted from this world-class professional’s expertise, as has the iconic Strat Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. No matter the project, Daniel is ready to electrify the details of every entertainment escapade. Turning the lights is just one part of his repertoire, after all. On a day-to-day basis, Daniel works with the team to make sure deliverables and schedules are in order. He figures out the best way to support all levels of leadership, contractor, and coordinator, and uses his experience to come up with lasting solutions for both people and projects.

From high-rise hotels to amusement attractions, Daniel has performed inspections, installations, and maintenance projects all across the entertainment world. Annual inspections on all occupancies and attractions located within the Walt Disney World resort are just one part of his wealth of experience. Whether it’s the EPCOT Electrical Code or National Electrical Code, Daniel can create, maintain, and electrify a space’s inner workings.
