Who is teaching this class?
Daniel Sandefur is one of the owners and instructors at Classes4contractors. He has over 30 years of experience as an electrician, instructor, electrical inspector, and author. He is a licensed master electrician and electrical contractor in over 30 states. He also holds the RCDD certification from BICSI as well as numerous credentials as an electrical inspector.
With over 25 years of experience in all things electric, it’s no wonder that Daniel’s experience spans across a wide variety of installations: residential, commercial, industrial electrical systems, and medium voltage switchgear. His work has taken him all across the country: Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Cirque Du Soleil, the Coca-Cola Store, Meow Wolf and their interactive art installations have benefitted from this world-class professional’s expertise, as has the iconic Strat Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
On weekends, Daniel is usually creating new course content or teaching an exam prep class somewhere in the country. His style of teaching is to simplify the code requirements and tell real-world stories that the students can relate to. He has taught thousands of students over the past 30 years and strongly believes that anyone can pass their exam if they have the right tools to study. Daniel always shares his personal phone number with the students and is there to help when needed. If you find yourself in a classroom with Daniel as your instructor, you will be impressed with his knowledge of the National Electrical Code as well as his ability to present the rules in a manner that almost everyone can understand.
