How many hours of Continuing Education am I required to complete?
General Supervising Electricians, Limited Supervising Electricians, and General Journeyman Electricians are all required to complete twenty-four (24) hours of continuing education every three (3) years. At least twelve (12) hours must be on code changes.
What about other license holders?
Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant electricians, Limited Residential Electricians must complete at least sixteen (16) hours of continuing education every three (3) years with at least eight (8) of those hours must be on code changes.
Limited Maintenance Electricians and Limited Energy Technician Class B Electricians must complete at least eight (8) hours of continuing education every three (3) years with at least two (2) of those hours must be on code changes.
Limited Energy Technician Class A Electricians must complete at least eight (8) hours of continuing education every three (3) years. All eight (8) of these hours must be on code changes.
Limited Renewable Energy Technicians and Limited Journeyman Sign Electricians must complete at least four (4) hours of continuing education every three (3) years. At least two (2) of these hours must be on code changes.Do you cover all of these topics?
