  • How long are licenses valid in the state of Vermont?

    All licenses are valid for three (3) years and expire on the last day of a month designated by the Vermont Electrical licensing Board.

  • How many hours of Continuing Education am I required to complete?

    All journeyman and Masters shall, as a condition of license renewal, complete fifteen (15) hours of continued education on the national electrical code in the preceding thirty-six (36) month period.
    All holders of a type-S journeyman license shall, as a condition of license renewal, complete eight (8) hours of continued education on the subject of the license holder’s specialty in the preceding thirty-six (36) month period.
