  • How many hours of Continuing Education am I required to complete?

    Every holder of a Journeyman or Master electrical license in the state of Idaho is required to obtain twenty-four(24) of continuing education in order to renew your license.
    All electrical licenses in the state of Idaho are issued for a three (3) year period.

  • What topic is the course supposed to cover?

    One (1) way to meet this requirement: sixteen (16) hours of the current National Electrical Code changes and eight (8) hours of an industry related course.
    Another way to meet your Continuing education requirement: eight (8) hours of the current National Electrical Code changes, eight (8) hours of an industry related course, and eight (8) hours of a code related course.
