Educational and entertaining Continuing Education courses for the absolute lowest price. our courses provide anywhere from 8 hours to 18 hours of continuing education required for license renewal. Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion immediately to attach to your license renewal form.
Renewal Requirements

Iowa Electricians must complete 18 hours of electrical continuing education every 3 years. The next renewal deadline is December 31, 2028

At least 6 of those hours must be on the most recent version of the National Electrical Code. This cycle is the 2026 Code.

If you have had your license for less than 3 years, you must complete 6 hours of continuing education every year your license has been issued.

How do I renew my license?
First you need to complete your continuing education hours. Once you have completed your hours, You will receive a certificate of completion for your records and we will send your hours to the board less than 24 hours later. The next step for you is to make sure you have paid your licensing fee and renewed your license with the board. You can do that on the BOARD WEBSITE HERE.
