Licensing Information

Licensing Board

The city of Pittsburgh requires an electrical trade license to perform electrical work in the city. You can find the licensing board with a lot of great information by CLICKING HERE.

License Requirements

A copy of proof of passing the certified standardized test.
A resume or documentation establishing a minimum of six (6) years of a combination of experience and education.
Non-Expired Government Issued Photo ID

The exam you want to take is the The National Standard Master Electrician Exam - T16 through the ICC/Pearson Vue testing center.
