Renewal Requirements

  • Ohio Electrical Contractors have to complete 8 hours of continuing education every year if license is renewed on time the year before.

  • If you were late to renew your license last year, you need to complete 10 hours of continuing education this year.

  • Only 4 hours of your continuing education hours are allowed to be completed online, the rest need to be completed in a live classroom setting. our Zoom classes are approved and count as live classroom hours.

How do I renew my license?

First you need to complete your continuing education hours. Once you have completed your hours, we will send the hours to the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board for you. The next step for you is to make sure you have paid your licensing fee and renewed your license with the board. You can do that on the BOARD WEBSITE HERE.
